If you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking about firewalking in some way.
People come to it for different reasons. Some are curious. Some want a challenge. Some are looking for something that feels different from the usual experiences out there.
I’ve been doing this for a long time now. I trained with established firewalking instructors and went on to run events myself. Over the years, I’ve worked with a large number of people and groups, and I’ve seen how they respond to the experience.
Firewalking is often talked about in terms of transformation and growth. That can be part of it, but in reality, it’s quite straightforward. You prepare, you focus, and you walk.
Some people overthink it. Others approach it more directly. Generally, the ones who keep it simple tend to get more out of it.
From my perspective, it’s not complicated. It’s about doing what’s in front of you without adding unnecessary layers to it.
I’ve worked with individuals, teams, and organisations, and the process is largely the same each time. There’s a structure to it, and when that structure is followed properly, people are able to complete the walk.
Not everyone approaches it in the same way, but most people are capable of doing it when guided correctly.
If you’re considering it, then it’s simply a case of deciding whether you want to take part or not.
The fire will be there.
It’s up to you whether you step onto it.
