Pre firewalk; As soon as I saw Logi Fire Walking was going to be at the Valhalla Viking Festival, I knew straight away I wanted to do it! I’ve seen fire walking on TV many times, and have always said I would love to do it if the opportunity arose. After I booked it, I was filled with excitement, anticipation, butterflies in my stomach, apprehension, will it hurt? The build-up emotionally on the day of the firewalk was pure excitement.
During the walk; It was truly amazing, and I felt honoured to be part of the ceremony. To actually get to help build and light the fire that I would be walking on felt very powerful. John’s passion, presence, and commitment during the ceremony was truly inspirational. His genuine care for everyone within the circle was apparent, for them to get as much out of the experience as possible. I felt very connected to everyone within the circle, and the universe when John was facilitating the opening of the circle and the welcoming in of the elements. The breaking of the arrow for me was very empowering. I put my full trust in John and released any fears to the universe, enabling me to do something I had initial doubts about. The fire walking itself was exhilarating and for myself a confirmation that I am a strong, powerful person, capable of doing anything I want to if I put my mind to it.
After the firewalk; I felt so empowered and in a state of bliss and happiness due to what I had just witnessed and achieved with others. That evening in particular I felt electric, like something had given me an extra dose of zest for life. my body was tingling all over and felt like it was alive. I had beautiful flashbacks of the ceremony, which brought up empowering emotions within. Because of John and Logi Fire Walking, I have made bonds and lifelong friendships with people who witnessed and shared the same beautiful experiences as I did.
